The survey will launch soon and we are ready to get these giant books off to the printer. You will receive an email from Backerkit (our pledge manager) once the survey is live. That should happen today after Backerkit finishes reviewing the campaign. The survey will run for 30 days before we charge credit cards, so X-Mas will long be in the rear-view mirror.

Once you click through to Backerkit, you load up your cart with whatever you want just like you would on an ecommerce site and pay for everything plus shipping and handling with a credit card. Again, cards will not be processed until mid January. If you don't have a Backerkit account, you will be prompted to create one during this process. 

All these items are available to you whether you pledged for them during the campaign or not: 

We also sourced more prop replicas of the Kandarian Daggers and Necronomicons, so order to your heart's content.  

While you all load up on goodies, I (Shon) will finish up all the last minute editorial noodling of the books before they go off to print. I love process, and I hope you all do too because here are some process pics:

Wow, Deadite Hunters!

Because of your support we will be bringing the massive over-sized art book and comic book omnibus to life. We can't say it enough, but...

 What comes next? 

We do all of our surveys and pledge management through Backerkit. We gave you a great walk through for that in yesterday's update. But the upshot is this: At the end of this coming week (probably Dec 1), you will get an email alerting you that your survey is ready. Click through, select everything you want (including anything new that you want), and pay for it. 

We will run the survey for 45 days. You can make adjustments to your order at any time during the survey. You will get charged (including any shipping costs) at the time the survey closes. 

Most of you have backed many Kickstarter campaigns, so this is old hat. However if this is your first, please don't hesitate to ask questions in DMs or in the comment section. 

Next steps internally for Space Goat? 

1) We will be placing the purchase order for the books and props next week. 

2) Once the files are off to the printer, we'll get the digital copies off to all backers who qualify. We still expect this to happen in Dec. 

3) We do this!

 4) We announce that although we did not quite hit the $35k stretch goal for the soft touch cover laminate, we want to offer it anyway. It's a great quality books--and you guys helped us run an amazing campaign. It's the least we can do. So...

 Honestly, we could not do all the cool stuff we do if not for your support. Many of you have backed all our campaigns. We genuinely can not thank you all enough.

Oh, heeeeeey! 

Here's the part where we plug other stuff. This time it's one of our own projects. Many of you don't know that we publish a pretty broad selection of comic books and coloring books. Well, we do! Check out spacegoatpublishing.com or merchgoat.com to get a better idea of what we do beyond board games and Evil Dead products. 

Next week on Tues Nov 28th we are launching another campaign with creator Ted Naifeh to bring his superhero passion project to life. His book is part of our Backpack Edition imprint of digest-sized books that cater to graphic-novel readers who may not be finding what they want at the local comic book shop. I'm not sure if there is any cross appeal with this group, but we would be remiss to not plug our next big thing. 

 

On a personal level, I'm fully stoked to run this campaign and bring this fantastic book to market. I've been a huge fan of Ted's for a couple decades. I would love it if you at least checked out the campaign once it goes live.

The Last Day of the Campaign but Not Your Last Chance!

Hello, Deadite Slayers!

We hope everyone in the US had a great Thanksgiving yesterday and everyone else had a great Thursday.  This will be the last update before the campaign ends! What a fun little ride this was. Thank you all so much!

We are officially on the last day of the campaign and still running our Thanksgiving/Black Friday promotion until campaign closes. It won’t be available for late pledges or in Backerkit. If you missed that update or are unsure of how the promo works you can check that out here. 

Speaking of Backerkit, the Backerkit survey is going out on December 1st. For those of you who haven’t used Backerkit before: You will get a survey in your email that takes you to the Omnibus and Art Book survey. It is important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information for fulfilling your rewards. You do not need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey; just click on the survey link, fill it out, and you’re all good to go! You will be able to answer questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and pledge for more Optional Buys if you'd like. You do not have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email. 

If you haven’t backed or you didn’t get your survey you can go here and you will see this: 

You can click ‘Pre-Order now!’ if you haven’t backed or put in your Kickstarter Email and press “Get My Survey Now”. You will see a shopping cart that looks like this:

In the meanwhile, with about 12 hours remaining on the campaign, feel free to: 

1) Share this update on social media and encourage other Evil Dead fans to back the campaign. (We are SO CLOSE to the next stretch goal!) 

2) Take a second (or fifth) look at the option bay chart and see if there's anything else you'd like to add to your pledge. Not all of them will be available during the survey. 

3) Chat it up in the Comment section. Let us know what you thought of the campaign and how much you like the junk we make! Ask any questions about optional buys or product info you may have. Pretty much anything...

Thank you all again for supporting this campaign and making it so awesome! It would have been unfeasible to print these massive tombs in a slip case without your help. We are prepping the  printer purchase order now to ensure we hit our estimated delivery date.

This campaign has been so much fun and has gone by in the blink of an eye! 

We hope that you all will take some time to show off our awesome Kickstarter to your friends and family as you return home for Thanksgiving.
